100, 200 & 400yd Australian Martini Henry Trophy
- Martini Henry Rifles to be chambered in 577-450 black powder loads only,
- 36 rounds required.
- Open to Martini Enfield/ Metford Rifles competing in their own class, using cast lead loads only, any propellant.
- Other calibres may participate but will be ineligible for placings.
- Rifles to be in ‘as issued’ military configuration, target sights, slings etc not permitted. Medals to be awarded for 1st, 2nd and 3rd in both Martini Classes and the Martini Cadet match.
2 Sighters Non-Convertible will be offered @ each distance.
Practice 1 @ 100yds, 2 Sighters+5 Rounds Standing, HPS=20
Using a modified Figure 1 target as per below, with the addition of an 8” round white bull in the centre. Scored Bull=4, Black Inner=3, White Outer=2
Practice 2 @ 100yds, 5 Rounds Kneeling/Sitting, HPS=20.
Using a modified Figure 1 target as per below, with the addition of an 8” round white bull in the centre. Scored Bull=4, Black Inner=3, White Outer=2
Practice 3 @ 200yds, 2 Sighters+10 Rounds Kneeling/Sitting, HPS=40 (12” bull).
Using the “Third Class Target”, scored Bull=4, Centre=3, Outer=2
Practice 4 @ 400yds, 2 Sighters+10 Rounds Prone, HPS=40.
Using the “Second Class Target”, scored Bull=4, Centre=3, Outer=2

Martini Cadet Match
- Martini Cadet Match for ‘as issued’ rifles chambered in .310 or .297/230
- Martini rifles in other calibres may participate, but their scores will be ineligible for any placings offered.
- Cast loads only, any propellant. No Copper jacketed projectiles.

Practice 1 @ 100yds, 5 rounds standing, deliberate HPS=20
Using a modified “head and shoulders’ target, with the addition of a 6” bull in the centre. Scored Bull=4, Black Inner=3, White Outer=2
Practice 2 @ 100yds, 5 rounds standing, 1x 60sec exposure HPS=20

Practice 4 @ 200yds, 5 rounds required, Standing, 5x 3sec exposure, 1 shot per exposure (Whistle on/whistle off), HPS=20

SMLE/MLE or any Enfield .303 designed before 1919 Rifles to be in ‘as issued’ configuration, target sights, slings etc not permitted. Others may participate but will be ineligible for placings, Tags to be awarded for 1st, 2nd and 3rd 32 rounds required.
